The Governor of the State of Florida has called a Special Election for filling the vacancy of the office of Senate, District 1.
Registered and eligible voters in precincts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 18 may vote in this election. You may search for your precinct to see if you live within State Senate District 1.
Candidates for this election qualify with the Division of Elections.

ABSENTEE VOTING
An absentee ballot may be requested for a specific election or for all elections through the next two regularly scheduled general elections. The request can be made in person, by postal mail, by electronic mail or by telephone. Only the voter or designated member of his or her immediate family or legal guardian can request an absentee ballot for the voter. Immediate family means the voter's spouse or the parent, child, grandparent or sibling of the voter or the voter's spouse.
Absentee ballots are mailed approximately three (3) weeks prior to each election to those voters who have requested an absentee ballot. Be sure the Elections Office has your correct mailing address.Absentee ballots cannot be forwarded by the postal service except for military and overseas voters.
