Early Voting Turnout
2011 Special Senate District 1 Primary Election

Any registered and eligible voter residing within State Senate District 1 may vote early. The voter must present a Florida driver's license, a Florida identification card, U.S. Passport or another type of required picture and signature identification in order to vote. If you do not present the required identification or if your eligibility cannot be determined, you will vote a provisional ballot.

Absentee Voting

Request an Absentee Ballot Online

An absentee ballot may be requested for a specific election or for all elections through the next two regularly scheduled general elections. The request can be made in person, by postal mail, by electronic mail or by telephone. Only the voter or designated member of his or her immediate family or legal guardian can request an absentee ballot for the voter. Immediate family means the voter's spouse or the parent, child, grandparent or sibling of the voter or the voter's spouse.

Absentee ballots are mailed approximately three (3) weeks prior to each election to those voters who have requested an absentee ballot. Be sure the Elections Office has your correct mailing address. Absentee ballots cannot be forwarded by the postal service except for military and overseas voters.

There will be six mass polling locations for this election, polls will be open 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. On Election Day, any eligible voter who is registered to vote within the city limits of Palm Coast must choose one of these six polling locations.

2011 Palm Coast Election Schedule

There are two municipal elections for the City of Palm Coast to be held in 2011. The Primary Election was be held on September 13, 2011 and the General Election will be November 8, 2011. According to the City of Palm Coast Charter, amendments and races with three or more candidates will be on the Primary Election ballot. Races with two opposing candidates will be on the General Election ballot.

Primary Election: Mayor and City Charter Amendment.

General Election: City Council Seat 1 and City Council Seat 3.

Please refer to the Sample Ballot for a listing of candidates and more information. All districts are elected at-large, which means any Palm Coast resident, who is a registered voter of Flagler County, may vote in any City District election. Questions regarding the City of Palm Coast election should be directed to the City Clerk's office at 986-3713.
